
The Marshall Fire Department was called out to rescue a two persons stranded in high water in the last few days.
According to a fire department spokesperson, firemen were dispatched to an incident where a person had driven their car into high water at Salt Fork Creek on Route H just north of Nelson on Friday, June 25. In order to rescue the driver, firemen called to get a rescue boat from Cooper County.
The person was rescued without suffering any injuries.
On Saturday, June 26, firemen were called out to rescue a person just outside the Marshall City limits on the bridge at Salt Fork Creek. The person was rescued and didn’t suffer any injuries.
