A 61-year-old Edwards man died as a result of injuries he suffered in a traffic crash in Benton County on Monday, June 28.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a southbound vehicle, driven by Kenny Foster, ran off the left side of the roadway and impacted an embankment; returned to the roadway and ran off the right side and struck a ditch.

Foster was flown by Life Flight Eagle helicopter to Lake Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by a doctor at 12:10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29.

The crash happened at 9:45 p.m. on Monday, June 28, on Missouri Highway 7, south of Route PP.
