Patric E. Hayes, age 61, of Slater, died Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at University of Missouri Hospital-Columbia.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, July 6, at Weiker Funeral Home in Slater. Inurnment will be at a later date at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Slater.

Born March 30, 1960, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Sonny Taylor and Patricia Moran.

He is survived by four sons, Billy Hayes of Marshall; Patric Hayes, Jr. and Timmy Hayes, both of Slater; and Adam McCallister of Marshall; a daughter, Tobey Cole of Sedalia; sixteen grandchildren; two brothers, Floyd O’Neill Mitchell of Texas, and Dale Hayes of California; and a sister, Jennifer Mitchell of Arizona. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Connie Hayes and GiGi Hayes; and his grandmother, Dorothy Harrison.

Mr. Hayes was a U.S. Army veteran. He had worked at Penny Plate and Nordyne, both in Glasgow; and Slater Felt, and Big Bend Retreat in Slater.
