Steve Fairchild, age 65, of Marshall, MO, died Saturday, July 3, 2021, at his home.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. There will be no visitation.

Born November 30, 1955, in Kansas City, KS, he was the son of the late Emmet Arthur Fairchild and Geraldine Christine Davis Fairchild. On August 7, 1998, he married Judy Ashford who survives of the home. Steve lived in the Marshall and Eldon areas most of his life and was co-owner/operator of Davis & Fairchild Construction. He enjoyed playing cards with friends and fishing.

In addition to Judy, he is survived by children: Michael Fairchild of Hartville, Samantha Ann Fairchild of Mansfield, Ashley Bezdicek of Wilton, IA, Eric Ridge of Killen, AL and Kaycie Pease of Marshall; 13 grandchildren; one brother, Stuart Fairchild of Eldon; a cousin who was like a brother, Jimmie Davis of Marshall; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sheila Lee.
