The Sedalia Public Works Department will be spraying for mosquitoes and flies between the hours of 2 and 6 a.m. in two areas of the city on Tuesday, July 20, and Thursday, July 22.

The city says Tuesday, July 20, spraying is scheduled from West Broadway Boulevard (U.S. Highway 50) south to the south city limits and from the west city limits to South Limit Avenue (U.S. Highway 65).

On Thursday, July 22, spraying is scheduled to take place from the north city limits south to West Broadway Boulevard (U.S. Highway 50) and from South Limit Avenue (U.S. Highway 65) on the west to South Ohio Avenue on the east.

The city limits spraying to areas of citizen concern due to impacts to pollinators from the spray.

The spraying is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if there is inclement weather conditions on either or both of those dates.
