At the Slater City Council meeting on Tuesday, July 6, board members discussed the flooding that occurred in late June.
After receiving more than 10 inches of rain within a 24-hour period, residents faced flooded homes. Mayor Dr. Stephen Allegri gave an update.
Mayor Allegri says Slater isn’t the only place with this issue, and many surrounding towns are facing the effect of flooded homes.
In other news, city council members discussed a fluoride grant and a leak-detection survey.
