A 37-year-old Glasgow woman facing felony charges following a hit-and-run incident in Boone County last summer is due in court this week.
On June 16, 2020, Centralia Police responded to a call in reference to a woman who was out walking her dog when she was struck by a driver who had left the scene. After further investigation, it was determined that Amy Rievley was the driver of the vehicle that had struck 74-year-old Sharon Uebinger, who later succumbed to her injuries. The dog was not injured.
Rievley was arrested in Henry County.
Court documents say Rievley is charged with a Class A Felony for Murder in the Second Degree; Class C Felonies for DWI Resulting in the Death of Another and Involuntary Manslaughter in the First Degree; and a Class D Felony for Leaving the Scene of an Accident Resulting in Death. Rievely continues to be held without bond.
Rievley pleaded not guilty on August 25.Her next hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Monday, July 12, at Boone County Circuit Court.
