Missouri has been identified as having one of the highest increases in the rate of positive COVID-19 cases in the United States.

Saline County Health Department Administrator Tara Brewer urges residents to get a COVID-19 vaccine. She says if you have questions or concerns, you can contact the health department.

Brewer says vaccines are the best way to help protect yourself against the virus.

Brewer says the county surpassed 50 active positive cases on Tuesday, July 13.
