
Although the list has decreased, several area roadways are closed due to flooding, including major highways in two counties.
According to MoDOT, the closures are in Chariton and Johnson Counties.
In Chariton County, U.S. Highway 24 just west of Keytesville; Route E just east of Highway 11; Route D just east of Highway 5; Route K south of Keytesville; and Highway 129 north of Salisbury are closed.
In Johnson County, Highway 23 between Concordia and Knob Noster is closed.
The other roadways that were closed on Monday, July 12, have been reopened to traffic.
