The Sips & Grins Wine Walk is scheduled for Saturday, July 17, on the Marshall Square.

Becky McRoberts, who is on the committee that is hosting the event, is hoping for a bigger crowd this year than in each of the past two wine walks.

McRoberts says the event costs $20 to attend, and that entitles you to a glass that is etched with Sips & Grins and the Marshall Chamber of Commerce logo, as well as a bag that is large enough to hold four bottles of wine or whatever beverage you might decide to purchase that night from any of the 13 vendors. But it won’t be just wineries. There will be craft breweries and distilleries.

Free childcare will be available.

McRoberts says tickets can be purchased in advance or at the event.

McRoberts says proceeds from the event go toward funding the chamber’s functions throughout the year, including Trick-or-Treat on the Square, the Christmas Programs and more.
