With the Delta variant of coronavirus making Missouri a hot spot for COVID-19 infections and hospitalizations, Fitzgibbon Hospital will host walk-in opportunities for vaccinations.

According to a press release, Fitzgibbon will offer a series of clinics for the Pfizer vaccine beginning Friday, July 23. The vaccination clinics are open to persons age 12 and older. The clinics are scheduled to be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the main atrium of the hospital, located at 2305 South Highway 65 in Marshall.

The hospital plans to conduct clinics for the next six consecutive Fridays.

Health officials say, Fitzgibbon Hospital’s affiliated family practice clinics in Marshall, Brunswick, Slater, and Fayette are expected to begin walk-in vaccination visits as soon as details and logistics are finalized.
