
During his report at the Marshall City Council meeting on Monday, July 19, Ward 3 Councilman Dan Brandt explained the curbside pickup event that was going on due to the recent flooding event is now over.
Brandt also gave an update on street work going on within the city.
Mayor Julie Schwetz asked Marshall Municipal Utilities’ General Manager Jeff Bergstrom why there has been such a drop in cardboard sold- as it has decreased from 482.53 in April to just 40.44 in June. Bergstrom explained the ConAgra contract has affected the numbers. He said ConAgra went with another vendor. “Back in April was our last month,” he said.
