An area city government needed to replace one of its council members who resigned.

According to Carrollton Administrative Assistant Terry Bell, this happened during the meeting of the Town Council on Monday, July 19.

Bell says Bliss will serve in that seat until the Municipal Election in April 2022.

In other business, the Town Council approved the road salt bid from Independent Salt Company, of Kanopolis, Kansas.
