The Fire Fighter Association of Missouri wants to remind residents the importance of posted and visible house numbers.

According to FFAM, making sure your house number is posted and visible from both directions of the road allow first-responders to easily locate your home during an emergency.

Officials ask residents to keep trees and grass trimmed around the sign.
