Multiple felony charges were requested, and two felony charges were formally filed against a Fayette woman after an incident in the early morning hours on Wednesday, July 21, in Howard County.

According to a Howard County Sheriff’s deputy’s report, Susan Elaine Weaver is alleged to have pulled a gun on a male victim and resisted arrest while authorities tried to detain her and was uncooperative at the jail. Authorities recovered the handgun- a 9mm Glock. There also was a Glock 10-round magazine with one live round in it. Authorities also recovered a switchblade.

According to court documents, Weaver is charged with felonies for unlawful possession, transport, repair or sale of an illegal weapon and resisting arrest for a felony. Weaver bonded out of jail on July 22.

Weaver’s initial arraignment is set for 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 14, at Howard County Circuit Court.
