South Grand Avenue will be restricted to one lane of traffic beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, August 4 and continuing until 9 a.m. on Thursday. The northbound lane will be closed to allow for roadway repairs after a recent water main replacement.

East Pettis Street will be closed between North Ohio Avenue and North Lamine Avenue and North Moniteau Avenue will be closed between West Henry Street and West Johnson Street beginning at 4 a.m. and continuing until 2 p.m. on Thursday to allow for repair of base failures in the roadways.

City officials say travelers will need to find alternate routes between 4 a.m. and continuing until 2 p.m. on Thursday.

According to a public service announcement, residents will be able to access their driveways during this construction activity. Travelers are advised that the roadway will be lane restricted and workers and heavy equipment will be in the area. Travelers are encouraged to find alternate routes to avoid delays especially during daytime hours.

Roadwork projects are weather and equipment dependent and may be delayed due to inclement weather or equipment breakdowns.
