Various free senior technology training courses are scheduled to begin this week, funded by Chariton County Senior Services.

Officials say courses will take place at 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. each week on Wednesday and Thursday, until Thursday, September 9. Wednesday classes will be held at Dulany Memorial Library in Salisbury. Thursday classes will be held at Sherry’s Home Cooking in Brunswick.

Course topics include:

• How to use Your iPhone and iPad, on August 4 and August 5.
• How to use your Android and Tablet, on August 11 and August 12.
• Facebook and Facebook Market Safety, on August 25 and August 26.
• How to Shop Online Safely, on September 1 and September 2.
• How to Order, Back-up, and Print Photos on a Smartphone, on September 8 and September 9.

According to an official flyer, the event will begin with a general overview presentation and one-on-one help will be available.
