Marshall Service Company, on North Highway 65 in Marshall, put up a new flag pole near the highway on Friday, August 6.

Tom Butner says the flag stands at 70 feet tall with the flag itself waving at 12 feet by 18 feet.

Marshall Service Company is a family-owned company that sells and services farm equipment, lawn equipment, outdoor power equipment, and utility vehicles.

Butner says the addition of the flag is a memorial to his grandparents.

The outdoor equipment company has served Marshall and all surrounding areas for more than 30 years.
