A 46-year-old Windsor man who changed his plea earlier this year to multiple sex-related felony charges for incidents more than three years ago has been sentenced to spend some time in state prison.
In July of 2018, three juveniles alleged to authorities they were inappropriately touched during a sleep-over and pool party at a residence in Windsor.
According to court documents, Christopher Hidy, who originally pleaded not guilty, changed his plea to guilty during a court proceeding in April to four counts of a Class C Felony for Third-Degree Child Molestation and a Class D Felony for Tampering or Attempt to Tamper with a Victim in a Felony Prosecution.
Hidy recently was sentenced to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on each child molestation charge, with all of the sentences to run concurrently. The court has delayed sentencing on the tampering charge until a report from the DOC is received regarding the defendant’s participation in a 120-day treatment program.
