
As of Tuesday, August 3, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported just over 40 percent of Missourians of all ages had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
According to officials at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall, area residents will have opportunities on three days this week to get their first dose of the two-dose series of the Pfizer vaccine, which has been approved for all residents at least 12 years of age.
One clinic is scheduled to be held from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, August 10, at the Akeman-McBurney Medical Clinic in Slater.
Another clinic is scheduled to be held from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, August 11, at Fitzgibbon Family Health in Fayette.
And another clinic is scheduled to be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, August 13, at the Fitzgibbon Hospital Atrium in Marshall.
