
Barbara L. Malan, age 82, of Clinton and formerly of Marshall, MO, died Friday, November 13, 2020, at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 16, at Malta Bend Cemetery, with William W. Harlow officiating.

Born January 24, 1938, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Herbert H. Richards and Esther L. McDaniel Richards. She was raised in Marshall previously living in Bates City, MO. She was owner and operator of Doggies Corner in Independence, MO. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshall.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol Snider (Tim) of Deepwater, MO; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one brother, Wendell Clark “Buck” Richards of Joplin, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Riley; and one sister, Beverly Wilson.
