The Marshall Square was filled with vendors, classic cars and lots of activities for adults and children last weekend.
The Marshall Cultural Council’s Shopping Under the Sun event took place on Saturday, August 7.
According to the Marshall Cultural Council president, Ashley Boock, the event took place on a warm day; however, the turn out was considered a success.
Boock says there was an estimate of hundreds of persons on the square.
In addition to Shopping Under the Sun, the Chalk Walk and the Beer Garden, there was also a classic car show and awards. All of the proceeds from the event go to benefit the Midwestern Hydrocephalus Coalition.
