
Jason Lee Pulliam, age 36, of rural Slater, MO, died Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 14, at Arrow Rock Cemetery, with Rev. David R. Van Horn officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the cemetery. In honor of Jason, it’s requested that you wear your jeans, boots, whatever casual attire you’d like.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or you may make checks payable to Kathy Pulliam for a trust fund for Kelby, all in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com
Born May 11, 1985, in Columbia, MO, he was the son of J.L. “Jay” Pulliam Jr. and Kathy Cooper Pulliam who survive of rural Slater, MO. He lived in Saline County most of his life and was a 2003 graduate of Marshall High School. Jason was a construction worker, an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed camping, 4-wheeling and bonfires.
In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by one son, Kelby Josiah Lane Pulliam; one sister, Kaylie Crewse (Joseph) of Marshall; one niece, Lexi Crewse; and paternal grandfather, J.L. Pulliam Sr. of Fayette, MO; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family.
Jason was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Frances Ann Pulliam; and maternal grandparents, Cedric and Leola Cooper.
