It’s going to be a very busy day for the Marshall Municipal Band on Thursday, August 12.

The band is scheduled to perform twice at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia. It first will provide music for the opening ceremony of the fair at 11 a.m. by the Agriculture Building. This will be followed with a concert at 3:30 p.m. on the Touchstone Energy Stage.

The band then will celebrate the Bicentennial of Statehood for Missouri in the final concert of its 100th season. The free concert will be held on the east lawn of the Saline County Courthouse grounds, and will begin at 7 p.m.
