A 41-year-old Higginsville man was killed in a rollover all-terrain vehicle crash in Lafayette County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a southbound Polaris, driven by Justin Moenkhoff, traveled off the left side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, overcorrected and overturned.

Moenkhoff, who was not wearing a safety device, was pronounced deceased at the scene by a Lafayette County Deputy at 12:22 a.m. Friday, August 13.

The crash happened at 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, on Plumb Bob Trail, south of Route AA.
