The Sedalia Police Department is accepting applications for the Citizen’s Police Academy.

Individuals who are interested in attending may print an application online and turn in a completed form at the front desk or records window of the Police Department at 300 West 3rd Street.

Officials say the academy is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays from September 22 until November 3. Classes will last approximately two to three hours, with dinner provided to all attendees.

Due to limited class size, enrollment is restricted to Pettis County adults with consideration given to residents within the Sedalia city limits.
