Landon Eugene Schroeder, age 53, of Sedalia, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Rest Haven Convalescent Center.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 20, at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. Burial will follow in Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery in Sedalia. Pallbearers will be Steve Schroeder, Kerry Schroeder, Jeff Schroeder, Melissa Schroeder, Stan Coterel and Mike Stevens. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 19, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to The Salvation Army, in care of the funeral home.

He was born September 18, 1967, in Sedalia, a son of Donald Gene and Shirley Viola (Marriott) Schroeder.

Landon enjoyed helping others and was a long-time volunteer at The Salvation Army. He was an avid bike rider, liked to socialize and talk on his CB radio. He was member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his father, Don Schroeder (Mary), of Hughesville; a sister, Melissa Schroeder; a brother, Jeff Schroeder; a step-brother, Mike Stevens; a step-sister, Tammy Burnett, all of Sedalia.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Schroeder; maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Jane and Lee Barnett; maternal grandfather, Bill Marriott; paternal grandparents, Jewell and Bill Schroeder.
