Donna L. Scheid, age 57, of rural Marshall, MO, died Sunday, August 15, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, August 20, at Heath Creek Cemetery in rural Nelson, with William W. Harlow officiating.

Born September 17, 1963, in Columbia, MO, she was the daughter of Donald Marvin Hopkins and Leveta Maye Grimsley Hopkins who survive of Houstonia, MO.  She was a graduate of Northwest High School in Hughesville. On April 22, 1989, she married Christopher E. Scheid who survives of the home. She lived in the Marshall area most of her life and was manager of a swine facility. She loved her grandchildren, fishing, sunsets on the water, storms, lighthouses and wolves.

Survivors include her parents, Donald and Leveta; her husband, Chris; three children, Cody Ballenger of Holden, MO, Kristina Riley and Mara Scheid of Marshall; nine grandchildren, Cayden Ballenger, Lanikai Ballenger, Mason Ballenger, Malia Roepe, Lillyann Riley, Ethan Scheid, Owen Riley, Emma Alspaw and Braden Alspaw; two siblings, Linda Pointer (Huey) of rural Marshall and Donald Earl Hopkins (Kelley) of Houstonia, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by one son, Jessie Carl Ballenger.
