Twelve more positive cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Lafayette County on Tuesday, August 17.

According to the Lafayette County Health Department, the total positive case count is 3,151; and the total number of COVID-19-related deaths remains 61 in the county since the beginning of the pandemic.

There currently are 148 active cases and 15 county residents hospitalized due to COVID-19.
