Terrance Llewellyn “Terry” Jones, 73, of Marshall, died Tuesday, August 17, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Graveside military rites will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, August 23, at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born July 23, 1948, in Higginsville, he was the son of the late Billy Goff Jones and Minnie June Jennings Jones Simpson. On September 1, 1967, he married Jeannie McDaniel who survives of the home. Terry served in the United States Army during Vietnam and then retired from the Missouri Army National Guard after 20 years of service. They moved to Marshall in 1970 and Terry worked at International Shoe Factory until its closing, Americold and then retired from the Marshall Habilitation Center. He was a member of the Freedom of the Road Riders.

In addition to his wife, Jeannie; he is survived by two children, Jeff Jones and Stormy Jones, both of Marshall; two grandchildren, Echo Madrid and Ivory Oltmer; three great-grandchildren, Chanelle Napier, Tilian Madrid and Kaylee Madrid; three brothers, Bill Jones of Higginsville, Bob Jones of Higginsville and Patrick Jones of Cabot, Ark.; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and one son, William Ritchie Edward Jones.
