Bradford I. “Brad” Aiken, 68, of Marshall, MO, died Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at his home.

A celebration of Brad’s life will be held at a later date.  Private family inurnment will be in Ridge Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Marshall Cultural Council in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born August 19, 1952, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Dr. Richard Franklin Aiken and Jane I. Irvine Aiken.  Brad lived in Marshall most of his life and was a 1970 graduate of Marshall High School.  He worked in various positions at Marshall Municipal Utilities and was the owner of a convenience store at Truman Lake.  Brad was a kind-hearted person and loved spending time outdoors.  His years of being a race car driver, musician and music fan, and his love of the outdoors will always be remembered.  In the last several years he has enjoyed spending time traveling with his companion, Janet Craig.

Brad is survived by two children, Lucas Aiken (Jennifer) of Blue Springs and Anne Mercer (Justin) of Kansas City; three grandchildren, Kylie and Will Aiken and Vega Mercer; three siblings: Rick Franklin of Columbia, Suzanne Aiken Farrell of Marshall and Carolanne Aiken of Marshall; his companion, Janet Craig of the home; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of friends.
