During the Saline County Commission meeting on Thursday, August 19, Northern District Commissioner Stephanie Gooden explained the county has received a grant to hold an event next month.

Gooden said volunteers are needed for the countywide cleanup event.

Gooden said the drop-off site will be the parking lot at the Saline County Fairgrounds on U.S. Highway 65 in Marshall.
