A 22-year-old Sweet Springs man was killed in a four-wheeler crash in Saline County on Friday, August 20.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a westbound Yamaha, driven by Cody Dierking, traveled off the roadway and struck a utility pole.

Dierking, who was not wearing a safety device, was pronounced deceased at the scene by Saline County Coroner Willie Harlow at 10:05 p.m.

The crash happened at 9:04 p.m. on Route T at Anchor Avenue.
