
A special meeting of the Concordia Board of Aldermen is scheduled for Monday, August 23.
According to the agenda, the board is scheduled to open a public hearing regarding the city’s proposed tax-levy rate.
The tax-levy rate being proposed is 88.97 cents per $100 of assessed valuation of real and personal property.
The board also is scheduled to be asked to approve a request to advertise for the position of city clerk.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. in Room 202 at the Concordia Community Center at 802 South Gordon Street.
