Jimmy Shiflett, age 82, of Fayette, passed away Sunday, August 22 at the Fayette Caring Center.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 25, at Friemonth-Freeze Funeral Home in Fayette. Visitation will take place from 5 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday. A private family burial will follow Wednesday’s service. Memorials can be made to Parkinson’s Foundation.

Survivors include his four sons; Dean and Wanda Shiflett of Armstrong, Scotty and Pam Shiflett of Fayette, Mike and Missy Shiflett on Fayette, Billy and Donna Shiflett of New Franklin; one sister, Sandra Doyle of Boonville; and 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
