Julie Ann Foose, 62, of the Cameron and Maysville, MO area, died Friday, August 20, at Sunset Home in Maysville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Houstonia Cemetery in Houstonia. Face masks are required and social distancing will be observed.  Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association. Friends may sign the register book at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born August 11, 1959, in Des Moines, IA, she was the daughter of Norman Kimzey who survives of Hale, MO and the late Barbara Pagel Kimzey Chitwood. She grew up in Gladstone, MO then lived in Sweet Springs where she was a 1977 graduate of Sweet Springs High School. She then lived in Cameron and Maysville. She received a bachelor’s degree from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, MO. She was a CNA, registered med tech and worked as a youth specialist  at Watkins Mill Youth Home and a special education teacher at Sweet Springs High School. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, reading and loved kids.

In addition to her father, Norman, survivors include three children, Melissa Foose of Kansas City, MO, Brandon Foose of Springfield, MO and Shauna McCleary (Nicholas) of Columbia, MO; 13 grandchildren; Brendon Perkins, Kendrick and  Zahara Foose, Hannah Smith, Tryston Cooper, Heaven, Faith, Christian and Julie McCleary, Thomas Jay Reddell, Nicholas, Trey and Christopher Foose; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Becky Brozovich of Liberty, MO; one brother, David Kimzey of Blue Springs, MO; two stepbrothers, Jim Chitwood of Carrollton, MO and Bill Chitwood  of Sweet Springs ; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, Barbara, Julie was preceded death by one son, Christopher Foose.
