A Slater man who has been charged with a felony for his alleged role in an incident in October 2020 is due in court Monday, August 23.

According to a probable-cause statement, Daniel Hamblen and another person allegedly assaulted a man on October 3.

Court documents indicate Hamblen is charged with a felony charge for third-degree assault. Bond remains at $15,000 cash only.

Hamblen’s case was bound over to the trial division, and he pleaded not guilty on July 26. A plea/trial-setting hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. at Saline County Circuit Court.
