During its monthly meeting, the Salisbury R-4 School Board approved its tax-levy rate.

According to unofficial minutes from the meeting, a public hearing was held with no public comments being made.

The board voted to approve the total tax levy at $4.4697 per $100 of assessed valuation of real and personal property. This breaks down as $2.9697 going toward Fund 1 and $1.50 going toward capital projects in Fund 4.

In other news, it was reported the bus routes will remain the same, and the HVAC has been installed at the elementary school.
