Bond has been reduced for a 53-year-old Otterville man who is facing charges after a reported incident in Pettis County on June 30.

According to a probable-cause statement, a woman alleges Willie Waddell assaulted her in front of a small child.

According to court documents, Waddell is charged with felonies for domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The court originally set bond at no bond. However, on July 20, the court reduced bond to $50,000 cash or surety.

Waddell, who was arraigned on July 2, is due for his preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
