
A Slater man who has been charged with a felony for his alleged role in an incident in October 2020 is due in court this week.
According to a probable-cause statement, Daniel Hamblen and another person allegedly assaulted a man on October 3.
Court documents say Hamblen is charged with a felony for third-degree assault. Bond remains at $15,000 cash only.
Hamblen’s case was bound over to the trial division, and he pleaded not guilty on July 26. A motion for change of judge was granted on August 23. A plea/trial-setting hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, August 30, at Saline County Circuit Court.
