A 41-year-old Carroll County man drowned at a lake in Camden County on Saturday, August 28.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Thomas Painter jumped from a cliff approximately 125 feet in the air and did not resurface.

The incident happened at 5:16 p.m. at the 64.5 mile mark of the main channel of the Lake of the Ozarks.
