A Warrensburg man is facing felonies in Pettis County after allegedly leading authorities on a high-speed pursuit that reached speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour last year.

On November 3, 2020 a Pettis County Sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop a vehicle, later identified as a stolen vehicle out of Henry County. The vehicle reached speeds up to 114 mph before entering Benton County, at which time the deputy terminated the pursuit.

The driver of the stolen vehicle was later identified as Brandon Dee Rollett.

Rollett is charged with a Class D Felony for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree and Class E Felony for Resisting Arrest for a Felony. Rollett posted $12,500 bond on August 4.

Rollett’s case was bound over t0 the Pettis County Circuit Court. His next hearing is scheduled for arraignment at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 7.
