A 59-year-old Centertown, Kentucky, man who is facing a drug-related felony charge after a traffic stop on I-70 in Cooper County on August 23 is due in court on Tuesday, August 31.

According to a report from a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper, he allegedly located about one pound of methamphetamine inside the vehicle.

Court documents say Larry Pearl Dyer is charged with a felony for trafficking drugs in the second degree. Bond remains at $50,000 cash or surety. A motion for bond reduction was filed on August 27.

A counsel-status hearing for Dyer, who pleaded not guilty on August 24, is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at Cooper County Circuit Court.
