The average high temperature increased in August in Marshall.

According to numbers provided by the National Weather Service, the average high temperature at the KMMO Studio was 88.3 degrees, up from 86 degrees in July. The high of 97 degrees was recorded on August 13 and 27.

The average low temperature came in at 67.9 degrees, down from 68.4 degrees in July. The low of 57 degrees was registered on August 4.

Measurable precipitation was recorded on only four of the 31 days, with the monthly total being 2.01 inches. Eight-tenths of an inch of rainfall was registered on August 21 and 78-hundredths of an inch on August 13.
