
Sedalia teen has been charged with multiple felonies in connection with a reported shooting incident on February 27, 2021.
According to a Sedalia Police report, officers responded to a report of shots fired at Centennial Park and found several shell casings in the parking lot just north of the basketball courts on the south end of the park. They were made aware that one person- 18-year-old Eabey Carlos-Gonzalez- was at Bothwell Regional Health Center being treated for a gunshot wound. An investigation revealed gunfire was exchanged between two vehicles- one of them being occupied by Carlos-Gonzalez.
According to court documents, Carlos-Gonzalez, who is now 19 years old, is charged with felonies for assault in the first degree or attempt, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. Bond is set at $75,000 cash or surety.
Carlos-Gonzalez’s initial hearing is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
