The Marshall Public Schools’ Superintendent Dr. Carol Maher has implemented an administrative procedure that establishes a district-wide mask mandate, effective Tuesday, September 7.

Dr. Maher says students, teachers and staff are required to practice proper mask wearing inside all MPS buildings- regardless of vaccination status.

For clarification, Dr. Maher added, “For indoor extra-curricular events, masks are not required while actively participating but are required when not physically involved. For example, when sitting on the bench during a game or holding (not playing) a musical instrument.”
