Lula Stonner, 94, of Higginsville, died September 2, at the Meyer Care Center.

She was born December 27, 1926 in Hodge, Missouri to Roy and Jessie (Ray) Howerton.

After raising her children in Higginsville, she moved to Marshall for a few years, then returned to Higginsville.

She worked at the Higginsville Garment Factory as a seamstress. She enjoyed traveling to Texas in the winter.

She is preceded in death by 3 husbands; son, Samuel Coleman; daughter, Maria Kappelman;

She is survived by her grandchildren: Christina Pippin, Andrea Coleman, Adam Coleman, Andrew Coleman. Several Great Grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m.Wednesday, September 8 at the Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall.
