Shirley D. Pittman, 88, of Marshall, MO, died Friday, September 3, at Big Bend Retreat in Slater.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville with Fr. Christopher Aubuchon officiating.  There will be no visitation.  Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church, Wounded Warrior Project or Fitzgibbon-Mary Montgomery Hospice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born February 17, 1933, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Eunice Wilson.  On February 17, 1951, she married Robert Heinzler and they were the parents of two daughters, Pam and Robin.  On June 14, 1956, she married Anthony Peters and had two daughters, Candice and Toni.  Shirley and Joe Pittman were married on July 3, 1975 and he preceded her in death on April 20, 2016.  She lived in Marshall most of her life and was a graduate of the Nursing Program at Saline County Career Center.  Shirley worked as an LPN for many years in home health, clinics, and finishing out her career at Saline County Rest Home.  She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.

Shirley is survived by three daughters, Pam Urtz  (Ken) of Naples, FL, Robin Klinge of Marshall and Toni Hall of Columbia; 12 grandchildren: Sean Cloyes, Shannon Phillips, Richard Urtz, Linc Klinge, Stephanie Absher, Joe Klinge, Mike Klinge, Shane Merchant, Bobbie Joe Smith, Josh Hall, Corey Hall and Lauren Hall; many great grandchildren; four siblings: Dianne Johnson of Overland Park, KS, Tom Wilson of Marshall, Brad Wilson of Arizona and Sue Negley of Colorado; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Shirley was preceded in death by one daughter, Candice Merchant and a son-in-law, Fred Klinge.
