A suspect in a home invasion is being sought after a resident on Redbud Circle in Sedalia was allegedly assaulted.

The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’8″ or 5’9″, has multiple tattoos, light colored short hair or balding, and wearing cut-off shorts with no shirt.

He was last seen in the area of Pin Oak and Sycamore in Walnut Hills in Sedalia.

Pettis County Sheriff says the suspect is not in custody, and urge residents to call 911 if you see anyone matching this description.

Residents are advised to keep doors locked. Authorities request  persons to report any suspicious activity to joint communication at (660) 826-8100
