A 48-year-old La Monte man charged with felonies for allegedly being in possession of child pornography and a sex-related felony involving a juvenile is due in court.

According to the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department, a deputy arrested 48-year-old Christopher A. Gardner on June 28.

Court documents say Gardner is charged with felonies for possession of child pornography in the first-degree and a sex-related felony. Bond remains at $250,000 cash or surety.

Gardner’s case was bound over the the trial division. His arraignment is scheduled to be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
